Am I the right person for this role?

Take a read through the following true story and see if this appeals to you.

“You have a new client, she’s been suffering with bulimia for 43 years. Her behaviours started when she was very young. When you first started working with her, she is very guarded, defensive and honestly very cynical towards the whole process. Progress is slow. Her behaviours are deeply ingrained. Patience is required. But you never leave her side, you are always there.

You become her rock, supporting her and guiding her through the process. Gradually, day by day, she begins to trust you. She starts to apply the Binge Code recovery principles to her life. She also starts to make progress. Along the way there are many setbacks and stumbles. She wants to quit multiple times, but you always managed to pick her up when she needs it most. You always get her back on track.

Slowly, her bingeing starts to slow down and eventually after 12 months, completely stops. Her confidence and self esteem begin to blossom. She starts to experience life in a new profound way.

6 months later she emails you to let you know just how much her life has transformed. She informs you that for the first time in her life she can truly ‘feel’ what it’s like to be alive. She is no longer simply ‘existing’, that she’s actually living again for the first time in 30 years. She recently became a grandmother, she says that the joy she experienced holding her grandson was beyond belief. Life joys like this was something that her bulimia stole from her for most of her life. She then thanks you deeply from the bottom of her heart for giving her her life back.”

Our coaches regularly get emails like this, it’s part of your very rewarding job as a Binge Code coach.
