We’ve coached hundreds of people from all different backgrounds. Some with a background of bulimia, binge eating or a combination of both. Some with ‘chew and spit’ issues, or overwhelming sugar cravings. Some need help with impulse control or some need help with eating in public. We work with all different kinds of people and we are open and non judgmental for all.

Coaching is based on principles from several disciplines including neuroscience, positive psychology, behavioural change theory, and mind-body coaching. It works.

The Binge Code Methodology is Evidence Based and combines elements of traditional therapies including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Nutritional Therapy.

How much does it cost?

The cost of coaching through BingeCode is $297 a day (billed every 40 days) and includes unlimited access to your coach. You can cancel your membership at any time for any reason.

Is your coaching absolutely private?

Yes. We take your privacy very seriously. 

How Quickly Can I expect to see results?

Honestly? It depends.

Overall, you’ll get out what you put in, but you should approach this journey as a long-term commitment. Our most successful clients typically stay with us a minimum of 6 months, and many have been in our program for more than 2 or 3 years!

Do you offer refunds?

Bad refund policies are infuriating. You feel like the company is just trying to rip you off. We never want our customers to feel that way, so our refund policy is simple: If you’re ever unhappy with for any reason, just contact our support team and we’ll take care of you.

We will evaluate your issue on a case by case basis and, at our discretion, take steps to resolve any issue, including helping you find a new coach, extending your subscription at no cost to you, and issuing partial or full refunds. See our Fair Refunds Policy

How do I communicate with my coach?

You can get coaching in two ways:

  1. Email messages with your coach
  2. Chatting live with your coach

If you feel uncomfortable talking on the phone you can choose to communicate via email only. 

Will I gain weight in recovery?

It is normal experience some initial weight fluctuations. As your body self regulates and metabolism heals you will gradually start to shed any excess weight.

How can I be sure that coaching is effective for recovery?

Besides our many testimonials, there are many studies that confirm the effectiveness of the online medium for making life changes.

A substantial amount of evidence collected through randomized controlled trials proves that online recovery programs can be equally as effective as traditional treatment (Stice et al, 2012).

Some evidence is even beginning to indicate that internet based recovery programs provide superior outcomes when compared with traditional, face to face, interventions that are provided by a clinician (Ruward et al, 2012).

What is the difference between Coaching and Therapy?

Therapy focuses more on analyzing your past behaviors and introspection. Coaching focuses more on moving forward and taking action and making positive changes to your life. 

How long does recovery take?

Although everyone is different, in general it takes around 3-6 months for the binge urges to disappear and a further 3-6 months to rebuild your confidence around food. Many people on our program feel as though they are fully recovered around the 12-18 month mark.

If this feels like a long time, please do not feel disheartened: What we are aiming for here is total recovery for LIFE. You will start to notice the benefits of recovery almost immediately.

It’s good to keep in mind that everyone’s recovery journey is unique. There is no right or wrong way to approach recovery. As long as you are committed to the recovery process that’s all that matters.

“Do I need to see a Doctor?”
