When I became a fitness trainer and health coach in 2016, I did it because I loved how fitness had enhanced my life and I wanted to share that with others. I truly loved healthy eating, cooking, and exercise and I still do to this day…

However, although the fitness industry served me well, there was something missing.

I still struggled with binge eating, secret eating, body shame, food obsession, disordered behaviors, and poor self esteem behind the scenes.

You could say I ‘looked good on the outside’, but felt terrible on the inside…

A day in my life usually looked like:

… I would eat really ‘healthy’ all day…

Only to end up eating until I felt sick and ashamed at night (or sometimes in the afternoons if I was particularly stressed).

I tried to stop binge eating on my own for 8+ years….

I read books on addiction, went on countless diets, tried to follow gut health protocols, joined group coaching programs, threw away my binge foods only to buy them when I ran out of willpower, and made promise after promise I couldn’t keep…

Although I kept up my fitness and cut my calories low enough to stay “skinny”, the truth was: food was controlling my life.

And I definitely didn’t feel healthy.

This contradiction made me feel like a fraud. And in the end, it was the desire to restore my integrity and be able to lead my clients by example that finally drove me to take the courageous step to hire a 1 to 1 coach to end binge eating for good.

In 2018, I hired a life coach who helped me finally break free.

I went from a personal trainer & athlete who felt like a fraud because behind the scenes I was binging every night and food was my greatest vice… to breaking free from the binge-restrict cycle and gaining 100% confidence and trust in myself around food.

After my work with my life coach, I developed my own strategy and system for recovery quite similar to the Binge Code system.

Since then, I’ve been successfully helping clients from all walks of life break free from binge eating and yo-yo dieting since August of 2021.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve tried every diet or weight loss program out there; you can break free and build LASTING healthy habits that you truly love and want to do.

I have more than 10 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry. My approach is focused on helping you to implement the Binge Code steps while supporting you to uncover your blind spots and limiting beliefs, create your own unique action plan to overcome obstacles and setbacks, and help you to build trust and confidence in yourself to continue living a healthy life you love well beyond our work together.
