Hi, I’m Kirsten Hunneyball, a Recovery Coach from South Africa.

Having faced binge eating, bulimia, anorexia, and compulsive exercise myself, I understand how daunting it can be to seek help. Thank you for your courage! 

My professional journey began in the fitness industry, but I soon realised the need for people to heal their relationships to their bodies not through diet culture or vigorous training, but through a much deeper approach to connecting with, and tuning into the body rather than trying to control it. So, I became a certified Life Coach, Peer Recovery Coach, and trauma-sensitive yoga teacher. I’ve also studied through the Polyvagal Institute and have a training background in addictions counselling.

For the past five years, I’ve been coaching people online, helping them transform their relationship with food and their bodies. My clients have found success through simple steps that help honour their body’s basic needs, sustained recovery through rediscovering themselves without the disordered identity, and learning how to access their inner resources to cultivate wholesome and healthier lives.

I believe I can help you by understanding and relating to your struggles, by being a thought-partner, cheerleader, and guide in the simple and effective tools that are required to recover fully from disordered eating. It’s challenging to face disordered eating alone, but with guidance, hope, and strength, you can navigate this journey more easily.

My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself. Together, human to human, we can help you achieve lasting recovery from disordered eating.
